We opened our first Thrift Shop on November 7th, 2006 by serving coffee and cookies to the many wonderful shoppers that visited our store. Bountiful snacks were provided by David McGrew of Chick-Fil-A. We had a record breaking sales day and started off with a bang. Sales have continued to be great and we will hopefully keep up the pace.
We currently have two locations; our original store in the Sun Bowl Plaza Shopping Center, which is located at 10765 West Peoria Ave., Sun City. Our phone number is 623-583-1434 and the store hours are 8:30AM to 4:00PM Monday thru Saturday. The Sun City store has a 50% off everything in the store sale one Saturday each month. Please come in and shop during this event and receive great deals on quality merchandise. We take donations at this location for both stores as well as for the Safe House. Simply state your donations are for the Safe House when dropping them off. We take donations anytime during business hours. Other times by appointment or special requests. We provide pick up service for large donations by calling the store number and scheduling a date. Delivery can be available for an additional fee.
Our new store is located at 8101 N 35th Avenue Suite D10, in Phoenix. We are on the northeast corner of 35th Avenue and Northern. The store hours are Monday thru Saturday, 10AM to 6PM. You can expect the same great quality and selection that you have come to expect from our Sun City location. In addition, the new store offers a 50% off everything sale on every other Saturday of each month. We also have daily sales that are posted each morning,
Come on over to our new store and discover new items daily. Besides clothing, you will find furniture, housewares, linens, books, videos and many miscellaneous items. If you are looking for kids' clothes, this is the place to come. New Kids' clothes are placed on the racks daily. Don't forget the many fashion shows that have been given with clothes from our thrift stores!
All proceeds from the sale of items in both thrift stores are used for the operation cost of our Safe House for victims of domestic violence.
We need volunteers to help in the store with sorting, marking and cashiering. Please consider giving us a couple of hours of time to assist in our cause. We have hourly shifts from morning to evening. Please call 623-583-1434 or 602-995-7450 if you have a few hours or stop by and sign up.
