Youth and Teen Services

Eve’s Place has been developing relationships within the community to provide classes to teach healthy relationships to teens in an effort to prevent teen dating violence in the future. Eve’s Place offers Teen Dating Violence Prevention in 3 formats;

1. One time presentation to a large audience
* Classrooms, school assembly and girl scout troops

2. Weekly small group session
* Currently held at Wickenburg High School, Buckeye Recreation Center and Peoria Community Center

3. One-on-one sessions
* Typically referred by school or recreation center staff, as needed

Our Youth Advocate is currently working with teens in various settings, but can tailor programs for any group looking to educate teens about healthy relationships. Information and services are also available to parents. Teen dating abuse affects 1 in 5 female teens each year. It is imperative that we all work together to educate, assist and provide safety to these individuals.
